Ora R. “Dick” (1920–1996) and Edna Ione (1921–2005) Hall were successful entrepreneurs in Santa Fe, New Mexico before retiring in Ogden, where they served their community in myriad ways.

In partnership with the city of Ogden, the Shaw Gallery Director curates rotating outdoor exhibitions and regular programs at the 杜姆克艺术广场 near the intersection of 25th Street and Washington Boulevard.
Unveiled in 2022 and designed by 佐佐木, Dumke Plaza is part of Ogden’s 九轨创意区.
“Nine Rails” pays tribute to Ogden’s history as a railroad town, originally a major connection point for the Transcontinental Railroad, and later the intersection for nine different rail lines. “Nine Rails” also references Greek mythology: Nine Muses are goddesses representing the arts.
