学术更新政策允许学生根据以下条件要求重新计算他们的机构平均绩点（GPA），以排除在续签申请日期之前六年或更长时间内在韦伯州立大学获得的D+或更低的成绩：

• 学业更新的申请人必须是目前就读于华盛顿州立大学的本科生，或者必须是上学期就读于华盛顿州立大学的学生。 目前未入学的学生，以及在使用学术更新重新计算GPA之前无法获得经济援助的学生，应向记录办公室开始这一过程，并向经济援助办公室提交启动这一过程的书面证据。
• Academic renewal may be requested only once during a student’s academic career.

• Grades of “D+” or lower earned six years or more prior to the academic renewal date will not be computed in the GPA.

• Only the calculation of a student’s GPA and earned hours will be affected by this policy.

• Courses qualifying for 学术复兴 are not removed from a students' transcripts, but are notated with an “R” in front of the original grade to indicate that the courses are no longer included in the calculation of GPA or earned hours.
