前教员Yeonsoo Kim和一群先锋学生成立了OPC，并在那年秋天迎来了我们的第一批客户。 Organizationally, OPC and 新葡京app State’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) functioned as an almost indistinguishable unit. 这种关系既提供了接触的机会，也带来了使命与重点分离的挑战。 Nicola Corbin, associate professor, assumed the position of faculty adviser of both organizations in the Fall 2014, upon Kim’s departure from the university.

2016年秋季，OPC正式将其执行委员会及其职能从PRSSA中分离出来。 第二年，OPC和PRSSA分别获得了教师顾问，科尔宾继续为OPC提供建议。

Over the years, clients for OPC have included: Sweet Spot Bakery, 新葡京app Pathways, Intermountain Donor Services, American Red Cross Northern Utah, the Major Brent Taylor Foundation, Bonneville Communities That Care, the United Way of Northern Utah and the Hall Global Entrepreneurship Center.
