  Bateman holds a bachelor’s 新葡京app in business administration with an emphasis in managerial economics from WSU, and a Master of Business Administration with a healthcare finance emphasis from Utah State University.

  He has held numerous executive roles within the healthcare industry, including positions as CEO of six hospitals, including St. Mark’s Hospital, Ogden Regional Medical Center, Brigham City Community Hospital, and Pioneer Valley Hospital. 他还曾担任Utah Hospitals & Health Systems Association的董事会主席。

  In addition, he has held numerous public/community service roles and is the recipient of the Distinguished Healthcare Executive Award from the Utah Hospitals and Health Systems Association, the Donald S. MacNaughton Award for excellence in healthcare executive leadership and exceptional service to the local community, and the “Outstanding Achievement in Support of Public Education” 新葡京app from Granite Education Association and Monroe Elementary School in West Valley City, Utah.   Strapped to a tractor seat with a rope as a seatbelt, 11-year-old Steve Bateman didn’t see himself as a future hospital CEO, or even an executive in residence at 新葡京app State University. What he did see was his grandfather’s straight furrows, painstakingly weeded fields, and other forms of carefully calculated excellence. In essence, what Steve saw in the dirt and dust of his grandfather’s farm was a foundation of leadership skills that would help Steve overcome setbacks and succeed in a fast-evolving industry with little to no margin for error.
