影子复制

影子拷贝是Windows内置的一个工具，它使用户能够将文件恢复到以前的版本。 Basically the server takes "snapshots" of the network drives several times a day, and stores information about changes made to the files on the drives. 用户可以将已修改的文件或文件夹恢复到其中一个快照时的状态。 目前我们的系统每天做两个快照。

影子复制 are currently enabled on Financial Services' fileshares including the H: and I: drives and redirect folders (Desktop, My Documents, etc.)

恢复已删除的文件

To recover a deleted file, right click on the folder that contained the file and select “Restore Previous Versions.”

这将出现属性菜单。 Make sure you are on the “Previous Versions” tab. 在此选项卡中，查找包含已删除文件的文件夹的版本，双击它。 这将弹出一个文件资源管理器窗口。 只需将您删除的文件从此窗口复制到您想要的任何文件夹。 不要对文件夹使用恢复按钮！

Important: Never use the "Restore" button on a folder, only on files.
To restore a file back to a previous version, right click on the file that you wish to restore and select “Restore Previous Versions.” 这将出现属性菜单。 Make sure you are on the “Previous Versions” tab. 在此选项卡中，找到要恢复到的文件的版本。

At this point you may click the "Restore" button which will 取代 the file with the older version and you will be done. 如果不希望用旧版本替换文件，则可以使用复制按钮复制旧版本。 点击复制按钮后，Windows将询问您想要保存旧版本的位置。 Just navigate to where you want it saved, and click "Save." （为了节省时间，您也可以将文件的前一个版本从属性窗口拖到需要它的文件夹中。）
