《家庭和医疗休假法》(休假)要求雇主,包括韦伯州立大学在内,在任何12个月期间,出于以下一个或多个原因,为符合条件的员工提供总共12个工作周的无薪休假:

The birth and care of the
newborn child of the employee. -
The placement with the employee
of a son or daughter for
adoption or foster care. -
To care for an immediate family
member (spouse, child, or parent)
with a serious health condition. -
To take medical leave when the
employee is unable to work because
of a serious health condition.
A “serious health condition” is defined as “an illness, injury, impairment, or physical or mental condition that involves inpatient care in a hospital, hospice, or residential medical care facility; 或由卫生保健提供者继续治疗,并需要填写医师或执业医师证书表格。

- Review 新葡京app State University’s 休假政策 to ensure you are familiar with the provisions.
- Submit your completed 休假申请 to 人力资源 at least 30 days before the leave is to begin when leave is foreseeable. 如果休假不可预见,请尽快提交申请。 没有提供足够的通知可能会破坏你的休假保护。

- Contact the Payroll office, [email protected], to discuss payment options for your portion of the group health care coverage if/when you have exhausted all paid leave and enter 无薪休假(LWOP) status.
- If circumstances change, such as the date you expect to return to work, notify HR as soon as it’s feasible.
