OGDEN, Utah — 新葡京app State University’s free summer outreach programs, 公园里的艺术 and 公园科学, return this summer in Ogden.

A child placing a craft on top of their head. 公园里的艺术 begins June 2 and 公园科学 begins June 9 from noon to 1 p.m. These activities coincide with Ogden School District’s free summer lunch program.

“These programs are impactful on children. It’s special for them to express themselves in creative ways,” said Alexis Kiedaisch, marketing and outreach manager for WSU’s Department of Visual Art & Design.

“公园科学 is a unique and fun experience, and easy to engage in,” said Amanda Gentry, director of 公园科学. “I have seen hundreds of kids running around towards our tents with nothing but smiles on their faces.”

“新葡京app State Outreach programs are so fun because we get to build relationships with the communities around us,” Kiedaisch said. “We want to be a part of people’s lives and their core experiences.”
